Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies HABACHA uses, why, and how you can control them. Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information between visits.
1. Which cookies we use
HABACHA uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The table below lists every cookie the platform sets.
| Cookie name | Category | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token |
Strictly necessary | Maintains your login session on the supplier and admin portals. | Session / up to 7 days | Supabase |
sessionStorage.isAdmin / supplierData |
Strictly necessary | Stores your session locally in the browser (not a cookie, but listed for transparency). Cleared when the tab closes. | Session only | HABACHA |
googtrans |
Functional | Remembers the language you selected in the Google Translate widget. | 1 year | |
NID, SID, HSID, SSID |
Functional | Set by Google when the Translate widget is loaded. Used by Google for security and preference memory. | Up to 2 years |
No marketing cookies. HABACHA does not place cookies for advertising, retargeting, or profiling. If we ever add privacy-friendly analytics, this policy will be updated before that feature goes live.
2. Categories of cookies
Under EU law (the ePrivacy Directive), cookies are grouped into four categories. HABACHA only uses the first two:
- Strictly necessary — required for the platform to work (login sessions). Cannot be disabled without breaking the portals.
- Functional — remember preferences such as your selected language.
- Analytical — measure how visitors use the site. Not used by HABACHA.
- Marketing — track visitors across websites for advertising. Not used by HABACHA.
3. Third-party cookies
The only third party that sets cookies on the HABACHA platform is Google, through the Translate widget. Google's own cookie policy applies: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies. If you do not use the Translate feature, you can block Google's cookies without losing any other functionality.
4. How to manage cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage website data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
If you block strictly necessary cookies, the supplier and admin portals will not allow you to log in.
5. Your consent
Because HABACHA only uses strictly necessary cookies and a single functional cookie (for language preference), we do not display a cookie consent banner. Under the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. The functional googtrans cookie is set only if you actively use the Google Translate widget.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we add new services. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent change.
